...and how are you NOW?

Fun Spanish Activities

Emotions play a big part in growing up, and teaching our kiddos how to express their emotions throughout the days, weeks, and years is an important skill to practice.

As we discussed in an earlier blog post, absorbing the language requires using it! Here's a link for LOTS of fun Spanish Printables for only $5.

Or, for today, get a printable version of this free Spanish Emotions Chart, by signing up for the Flip Flop Spanish newsletter!

Spanish Feelings Chart

To use your printable, simply ask and answer:

¿Cómo estás ahora? (How are you now?)

Estoy... (I am)

Your children will enjoy engaging you in Spanish,

Fun ways to engage: act out different emotions, make faces to express yourself, point at the pictures, draw faces on your whiteboard paddle, if you have the SiSi Set.

Who knows...you may find out how they feel a little differently. Speaking in another language sometimes acts as a "shield," in that it allows you to be a little more vulnerable about true feelings. Try it!

 ¿Cómo estás ahora?

I recently bought the flip flop Spanish for the whole family at the TEXAS Homeschool Convention. It was really nice to meet you and your husband. He gave the confidence that I could learn Spanish along with my grandkids. I think that learning Spanish will help us all learn how to communicate better in English as well as some Spanish. Anytime the family is together is a good thing!
