Leadership Lab Homeschool Video Course

The Leadership Lab video course fulfills a full high school speech credit for your transcript. The equivalent of one semester of Public Speaking and one semester of Interpersonal Communications is enveloped in a discussion and experimental course where the student is the main "guinea pig."

That's right! This Leadership Lab Video Course can be notated on your student's high school transcript as one semester (.5 credit) of Public Speaking and one semester (.5 credit) of Interpersonal Communication, and a FULL YEAR of amazing growth!

Your student is both the scientist and their own "petri dish" all while applying different components to their own lives, personalities, and habits. This "lab" provides 30 minutes of instruction per week that will create the momentum to experience life changing habits and effective, healthy relationships in your high school or middle school student while reading the best selling classic, "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie.

Which option fits your family best?

OPTION 1: Monthly Membership
$25/month for the full video course, self-paced. It's a great option for co-ops, busy schedules, and fast paced summer course options. The parent or mentor administers or supervises the weekly discussions, and speaking options - every critique and guide is there for you to print for each session. Start and stop on your own schedule, at any point during the school year, or even pause the access over holidays and breaks.

OPTION 2: Annual Membership
$349/year. This one time payment gives you access to all the lessons, videos, and courses, as WELL as the 30 minute LIVE discussion sessions each Wednesday at 11:15 am Central Standard Time. The zoom link allows just 21 seats. After that course is filled, a second session will open up. If you miss a week, you can stay current by watching the recording from the Wednesday you were absent. Leadership Lab Live Runs from September 9, 2026 through April 28, 2027, with various breaks for the major US Holidays.


From interpersonal communication, managing yourself and your organization, public speaking, career options, and more, this course is a must have for every student. We’ll use the classic book "How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie as a main spine. Your student will work through their journals, speaking assignments and growth charts weekly for discussion time in class. We’ll also “accidentally” cover political history, faith, persuasion, and character traits. Expect about 90 minutes of work outside (three sessions of about 30 minutes.) 

Come to the optional live sessions on Wednesdays at 11:15am Central Standard Time for interactive discussion with other Leadership Lab students, (September through May) or discuss at home with the whole family.
